BCITSA Design Contest for Student Agenda 2019
I submitted this piece to BCITSA’s Student Agenda Design Contest and was shortlisted!
This is a double exposure of a bear and a landscape. The theme for this contest was the Pacific Northwest, so I decided to show the mountains through the bear shape to give it a unique feel to the way mountainous landscapes are normally portrayed. I used a dark blue colour as the background, to represent parts of BCIT’s logo and colours. I used yellow for the typography, again as one of the colours associated with BCIT, and for contrast to the blue background.
