I connected with Danny Gordon who is a personal trainer just about to start his podcast entitled "The Fitness Lifestyle Podcast". This podcast launched Monday April 20th, 2020! He needed podcast cover artwork as well as some graphics for his website. These are the four graphics I created for him. We will be continuing to work on more graphics in the future. My Immune System Hates Me Podcast:
I connected with Chelsey Storteboom in regards to her new podcast entitled "My Immune System Hates Me". She has recently been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and created this podcast to learn more about her diagnosis and to help others learn along the way. Her podcast launched on September 3rd, 2020.
The design is portraying how she is feeling when her immune system is fighting against her from the inside. I tried to create movement in a still picture with the circular shape on the left and with the smaller, more transparent version of herself "yelling" to create the movement of her spinning around due to the immune system. Also, the background is meant to represent the immune system or inside the body. Overall, it really portrays what the podcast is about. She's learning about her immune system that is somewhat out to get her. Even the "Hates Me" typography is meant to tie-in to the theme and gives it that feel of yelling especially in the beginning stages of learning about Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Follow her journey as she learns more about her auto-immune disease and brings guests on the podcast to talk about other illnesses:
